Just to clear things up with Gio and his Elbow OFA rating....When gio was about 11 months old he had gotten his leg caught in the fence, because of this he had injured his leg and now his rating is a grade 1 DJD..this is NOT hereditary it is from an injury, but unfortunately when I spoke with OFA they do not create notations to these issues. There have been plenty of false accusations about this matter and felt the need to clear it up. If you notice I did not hide it like so many other breeders may have as elbows for one is not a required health test therefore most breeders don't test for it and if they did and produced a bad rating, would hide it.
Gio has since his injury not shown any signs that this even bothers him. So please don't jump to conclusions about my breeding him before you find out all the facts!!
